Chicken thighs cooked on a smoker are a flavorful and juicy delight that combines tender meat with a rich, smoky aroma.
Mix together all ingredients for homemade “shake n’ bake” in a large freezer ziploc
Preheat smoker to 220 degrees
Add chicken thighs, 2 at a time to ziploc and shake to coat
Place all thighs on smoker rack and place inside smoker
Smoke for 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on size of chicken thighs.
Turn smoker up to 400 degrees, smoke for another 15 to 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Remove from smoker and enjoy!
The slow cooking process allows the chicken to absorb the wood smoke, infusing it with deep, savory notes while keeping the thighs moist and succulent. Whether served at a barbecue or as a comforting meal, smoked chicken thighs are sure to impress with their bold taste and satisfying texture.
